6.5 Million Pounds Of Beef Recalled for Salmonella!

  The recalled beef products were shipped nationwide and the outbreak currently involves over 16 states with 57 reported Salmonella illnesses. The recalled products bear establishment number “EST. 267” inside the USDA mark of inspection. Johnston County Hams Inc (Smithfield) has recalled more than 89,000 pounds of ready-to-eat ham products due to Listeria monocytogenes infections. Pregnant woman are 10 times more likely to get ill from Listeria and can cause serious issues including miscarriages, stillbirths, premature labor and even death in newborns.
